Kaleidoscope - R&S Rotator in Zebra Wood by Leif Colson, Colorful Kaleidoscope Company

This is a classic kaleidoscope design originally perfected and popularized by world renowned kaleidoscope makers Randy and Shelly Knapp. When the Knapp's retired they graciously passed along some of their equipment, materials and even designs to Leif.  Leif has done an amazing job creating the R&S Rotators using both the Knapp's and his own beautiful design elements.  

This kaleidoscopes is 8" long, 2" diameter and features a rotating oil chamber filled with lampworked translucent glass and textured dichroic glass which randomly tumble to create the never ending rainbow of images seen within. Each kaleidoscope comes with a simple display stand.

This variation is a Zebra wood with an internal 2 mirror system and a 6 point central mandala against a black background.
