Kaleidoscope - ‘Sparkler’ 3 Mirror in Maple by Henry Bergeson
Henry has consistently created our most collectible line of kaleidoscopes, combining his keen skills accrued from his Mechanical Engineering degree and his decades of master woodworking, beginning at the tender age of five alongside his father.
In the "Sparkler" style, he has somehow managed to make a very affordable oil cell kaleidoscope that still incorporates his signature masterful woodworking, his finesse with mirror systems, and his brilliant use of color, shape and texture in the baubles he places in his oil cells.
Henry used Maple for the body and Bubinga for the accent pieces including the custom curved base on which the kaleidoscope perfectly rests. Similar to his other kaleidoscope styles, the eyepiece of the Sparkler is now curved in order to be ergonomically correct and comfortable when holding it so the optical lens in the eyepiece can be very close to one's eye.
The oil cell is turned or slid side-to-side by either knob, also in the accent Bubinga wood. A wonderful entry style into the world of spectacular kaleidoscopes, this Sparkler will be sure to amaze and excite the recipient.
It measures approximately 9-3/8" tall by 1-1/2" by 5-1/4".
