MIKIO - Japan

MIKIO is an up and coming Japanese kaleidoscope artist who studied under the tutelage of Yoshiko Matsumoto & Takeo after studying Japanese painting at JF Oberlin University. 

MIKIO is inspired by science fiction movies and cyber fashion and designs kaleidoscopes with a futuristic cyber feeling.  All kaleidoscopes are the artist's original designs using bright neon colors allowing you to enjoy the scopes in either natural light or with UV light.  

In addition to designing bright and happy kaleidoscopes, MIKIO participates in kaleidoscope exhibits and also offers classes and lectures on kaleidoscope production.
