C. Bennett Scopes by Carolyn Bennett

Carolyn Bennett began her career as a kaleidoscope artist in 1978. She considers kaleidoscopes a contemporary art form and is known as one of the pioneers of the modern kaleidoscope movement having won multiple awards for her kaleidoscope designs. The discovery of an ever-unfolding world of color, art, philosophy, and beauty within the kaleidoscope continues to inspire her.

From 2019 until 2023 her company,  C.Bennett Scopes, was under the ownership and direction of Lisa Hill of Cape Kaleidoscopes in Saco, ME, while Carolyn enjoyed semi-retirement and a move from the east coast to Jerome AZ.

As of Fall 2023 Carolyn will step back into the leadership of C.Bennett Scopes with a newly established studio in Jerome, Arizona!  The transition of equipment from Maine to Arizona and the time needed to organize will mean that there will be a slight break in the delivery of Special Occasion Kaleidoscopes.
