Kaleidoscope ~ Astral by Charles Karadimos ~ Limited Edition of 9
This is 'Astral' a limited edition of 9 pieces from Charles Karadimos handcrafted in December 2023.
Astral is a shorter version of the Conuscope, standing 8” tall and almost 3" in diameter at the object cell end. The exterior is predominantly white, accented with colorful gradients.
A tapered two-mirror system produces nice 8-point images.
The dry object cell features a separate area allowing colored frit to move in the background of the main cell, which is filled with lampworked glass and dry-filled ampules completely created by Charles himself.
